My insurance journey began as a field underwriter for a major life and disability carrier and I've truly enjoyed the last 10 years in employee benefits. I LOVE working with small businesses! I grew up watching my Dad run his own small business. I know it's hard running a company so I'm always happy to go the extra mile to ensure a client's satisfaction. When I'm not working, I enjoy being outside exploring nature, competing or coaching/refereeing a team sport or spending time with my three sons and my wonderful wife, Aubrey.

Fresh out of college, newlyweds with our first child on the way, my employer refused to give me ANY advice during Open Enrollment. I didn't have anyone to talk to in HR because they were more worried about liability than helping me. Without any guidance, I picked a random plan. After our son's delivery, we received a hospital bill for over $9,000 because we didn't have the right coverage. I wished I would have been better informed and supported by my employer. I want employees to get honest advice in simple terms. This is why I feel it is so important to give it to you straight, "Real Talk" as they say. I don't want my experience to happen to anyone else.
